hile 2024 marked Italian designer Francesca Villa’s COUTURE debut, her history of creating exceptional jewelry dates back decades. Born in Liguria, a drive for a cosmopolitan lifestyle led her to relocate to Milan, then Rome, before finally settling in Solonghello, where her current atelier is located. Prior to launching her eponymous brand in 2007, Francesca spent years designing for some of the most famous names in Italian luxury jewelry. This knowledge and experience, combined with influences of her world travels, results in fantasy-fueled pieces that weave magical tales, often crafted in unexpected materials. We were thrilled to get a sneak peek into a day in Francesca’s life
We have so many talented craftspeople in our atelier, it is a pleasure to work alongside them every day.

10:30 AM: Meeting with Craftspeople
By mid-morning I am in the atelier, checking on the progress of a bespoke piece with my goldsmith. Very exciting to see this design come together for a wonderful client!
We have so many talented craftspeople in our atelier, it is a pleasure to work alongside them every day. This close collaboration also means I have full overview of each piece at every stage during its development, meaning I can ensure my designs can be executed exactly as I envision!
