e are always excited to get a glimpse at the many variations on a singular theme envisioned by COUTURE’s talented designers and brands. Even if the inspiration is thousands of years old, as it is for this month’s edit, we can be confident that we will see fresh interpretations that serve to enhance the perennial popularity of stalwart trends. The Western Zodiac can date its roots back to the third millennium BC. Based on integration with the cosmos, one’s Sun Sign is determined by the positioning of the planets at the exact moment of birth, which (if you’re a believer!) results in different personality traits. Wearing a reminder of one’s Sun Sign can be a useful tool for empowerment and for understanding the inherent characteristics that can shape our world view.

While we received ample submissions of pieces inspired by the night sky and the planets that rule it, as well as gemstones that correspond to birth months, we are limiting what we are including here to a roundup of some of our favorite Western Zodiac symbols. Whether showcasing the position of diamonds-as-stars in the sky or depicting more literal images of each of the 12 zodiac signs, each of these pieces would give anyone cause to brag about how great it is to be a (insert sign here)!
