hank you to everyone who joined us for what we hope was a successful and enriching COUTURE 2025! As those of you who attended this year’s Design Awards already know, our long-time Retailer Liaison, Jan Mohr, is retiring this summer after 25 dedicated years of service. Jan has had an indelible impact on this community, and her influence will continue to inspire and guide us; we wish her maximum joy and relaxation in her retirement.
While new to the COUTURE team, Kimberly is no stranger to our community.

Kimberly Straub
We are delighted to welcome to the team Kimberly Straub, who will assume the role of COUTURE’s Retailer Liaison. Growing up in Brookfield, Wisconsin, in the suburbs of Milwaukee, Kimberly began working at her father’s store, Treiber & Straub, when she was in college. Already a buyer for the store by the time she was 19, she also worked on the salesfloor and ran the day-to-day operations. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Kimberly went on to attend GIA in Carlsbad, CA and returned to become an integral part of all aspects of the family business, contributing greatly to its steady success.
With a keenly developed eye for style, Kimberly’s father also instilled in her a penchant for luxury, entrusting her with the lion’s share of the store’s purchasing decisions until he decided to close the store in 2024. Upon hearing the news of the store’s closure, Jan Mohr personally recommended Kimberly as her successor.

While new to the COUTURE team, Kimberly is no stranger to our community. Kimberly and her father were legacy COUTURE Cornerstone Retailers who attended trade events globally but always favored COUTURE, which they’ve attended since its inception. Kimberly explains, “My passion is the high end luxury industry, and The COUTURE Show was always a big part of my buying experience. I have first-hand knowledge of what a wonderful show COUTURE is, and I’m honored and humbled to become part of the team that makes it all happen.”
Kimberly joined the COUTURE team at our 2025 event, where she shadowed Jan, met hundreds of people and got a sense of the role’s responsibilities. Her warmth and positivity have already won over everyone she encountered during those whirlwind days, and the team looks forward to watching her thrive in her new position.

Kimberly lives just outside of Milwaukee with her four sons, her eldest, Sam, 17, and triplets, Alex, Ben and Max, aged 14. Her soon-to-be husband, Ben, has two daughters, Allison, 16 and Lauren, 14. When she’s not working, Kimberly enjoys golfing, boating, skiing and spending time with her extended family, sharing meals and relishing in the simple pleasure of one another’s company. She’s also a self-described fashion obsessive with a deeply seeded passion for exquisitely crafted fine jewelry; her fresh perspective and enthusiasm are certain to make her an integral part of the COUTURE experience.
Please join the entire COUTURE team in warmly welcoming Kimberly to her new role as Retailer Liaison.
