other’s Day, which is celebrated on the first Sunday of every May, remains one of the biggest shopping holidays of the year. Not surprisingly, jewelry is often a first choice for gift givers wanting to lavish the moms in their lives with love. The permanence inherent in fine jewelry, coupled with messages of sentimentality both subtle and overt make a gift of fine jewelry an ideal expression of love.

As the old adage goes, “I have enough jewelry,” said no one ever. So the perfect gift of jewelry for the mom in one’s life is the piece she’s going to love based on her taste and style.

What qualifies as “Mother’s Day jewelry” you ask? As the old adage goes, “I have enough jewelry,” said no one ever. With that said, when we asked COUTURE designers and brands to submit images for a Mother’s Day round up, a few key themes emerged, namely happy Spring colors, floral themes, sentimental jewelry such as hearts, lockets and pieces containing messages of love, some diamond essential upgrades, and a couple of “not your grandmother’s pearls” pearl pieces.
