ew York-based fine jewelry agency MUSE, is excited to announce that they’re expanding their Have A Heart, charming initiative with charitable partner, Every Mother Counts, with the launch of 9 new charms on November 3rd including beautiful new styles by Anna Maccieri Rossi, Lorraine West, and Marlo Laz to name a few. EMC’s mission is to make pregnancy and childbirth safe, respectful, and equitable for every mother, everywhere. The maternal health non-profit was founded in 2010 by Christy Turlington Burns and is particularly near and dear to MUSE, as one of the reasons founder Jennifer Shanker started Have A Heart was to make it easier to regularly give back as a full-time working mother. To date, EMC has invested more than $24 million globally in more than 40 programs and has directly impacted more than one million lives. MUSE is thrilled to contribute to this vital effort.

Building on the first HAH x MUSE x EMC drop in April, 9 new charms are launching this month in an array of autumnal orange hues that also nod to EMC’s signature color. They are all earmarked to benefit EMC with 10% of sale price going directly to the charity, and they are available for purchase at the MUSE Shop (605 Hudson Street, New York, NY 10014) and on MUSExMUSE.com. Prices range from $375 – $11,000.

To celebrate the collaboration with all the earmarked charms and ongoing partnership with EMC, MUSE is hosting an event at the MUSE Shop from 3-7pm on Thursday, November 3.

Ten percent of ALL sales at the shop that day in addition to the earmarked charms will go to benefit Every Mother Counts. Limited Edition (50) EMC x Laurel Pantin tie-dyed t-shirts will be available for purchase for $65 with 70% of the sale price going to benefit EMC. The event will include small bites, drinks, and a live musical performance.

Have A Heart is a multi-designer, cool, collaborative, charitable, charming initiative, conceived of and curated by MUSE. The Have A Heart collection consists of over 300 charms from over 30 talented designers who are represented by MUSE Showroom or considered Friends of MUSE. Each charm in the collection is either literally or figuratively, a heart. Ambassadors are fabulous, philanthropic, jewelry-loving people with charities dear to their hearts. Each Ambassador curates a charming combination (1-20 charms) by choosing favorites from the Have A Heart and Be A Star charm collections, which are then earmarked for their charity of choice. Ambassadors can work with current designers to customize existing charms or invite a new designer to be part of the project. The main ideas behind Have A Heart are to use jewelry to do good and to create a collaborative collective where each contributor does a little bit so that, collectively, it goes a long way.
