4 Brands Making a Triumphant COUTURE Return

W
e are very honored that so many of COUTURE’s designers and brands have been stalwart in their commitment to exhibiting at our event. There are countless designers, too many to name here, who joined the community decades ago and have exhibited with us at every consecutive show. There are occasions, however, when brands sometimes need to take a break. Maybe they’re restructuring their business, perhaps family obligations have prevented them from attending, and sometimes they want to take a beat to be able to take full advantage of the unique opportunities COUTURE offers. Whatever the reason, we are always delighted to welcome them back!

This year, there are a handful of brands who are making their triumphant return to COUTURE. We were thrilled to catch up with four of them, Marie Mas, Mindi Mond, Omi Privé and Uniform Object, to find out what has changed since they last exhibited at COUTURE, what they’re most looking forward to upon their return, and to hear about the newest pieces that they’re excited to share with the COUTURE community.

C: Has anything shifted within your brand since the last time you exhibited at COUTURE?

MM: I’d be tempted to say “everything!” In seven years, we have grown. New collections have strengthened our creative universe, such as Luminous Lines, which has become the guiding thread of the House with its unique and original creations, as well as The Caustic Light, our latest collection born from the meeting of our two core inspirations: light and water.

New gemstones have also been explored : tanzanite, pearls, and many others!

C: What are you most excited about in light of your return to COUTURE?

MM: We look forward to seeing people discover our new moving pieces, brought to life through unique innovations. Emotion lies at the heart of the House and it’s in person that we share our values the best way.

More than anything, we will be unveiling an exclusive, innovative new collection featuring transformative pieces that are truly magical to discover in person.

C: Has anything shifted within your brand since the last time you exhibited at COUTURE?
MM: Since our last time at COUTURE, Mindi Mond New York has continued to evolve through a deeper exploration of color, form, and refined craftsmanship. We’ve expanded our core collections while introducing new ones, all rooted in our commitment to modern heirlooms that feel both current and enduring. There’s been a natural progression toward more expressive color, distinctive silhouettes, and elevated detailing, while remaining grounded in our classic MMNY aesthetic.

C: What are you most excited about in light of your return to COUTURE?
MM: We’re incredibly excited to reconnect with the community that makes COUTURE so special. It’s a meaningful moment for us to share how the brand has evolved, introduce new work, and engage in thoughtful, in-person conversations with retailers and editors. There’s an energy around returning that feels both nostalgic and forward-looking.

We’re especially excited to showcase our all-diamond pieces from our FLOATING HUES collection, which reflects our continued exploration of vibrant gemstones and fluid, dimensional design. The collection balances structure and movement, with stones that appear to almost float within refined, modern settings.

C: Has anything shifted within your brand since the last time you exhibited at COUTURE?

NN: The love of the gemstone has always been at Omi Privé’s core — that hasn’t changed. What has deepened is our commitment to exceptional stone sourcing and the education that surrounds it. Over the past decade, we’ve become increasingly intentional about bringing our clients closer to the origins and rarity of the stones we select, and we’re eager to continue that conversation on the COUTURE floor.

When we last exhibited at COUTURE, we were a younger brand, passionate about gemstones and designing around them, letting the stones lead. That remains true, but we’ve grown into a clearer sense of purpose. Today, Omi Privé isn’t just showcasing exceptional gemstones, we find purpose in fulfilling their destiny. Our perspective, our craft, our passion is more evident. We’re a more evolved brand now, and with that comes a deeper understanding of the role we play, not only in how we present these pieces, but in the full story of each stone – from how we source it, to the knowledge we bring to it, to our part in connecting it with its final home. Returning to COUTURE is an opportunity to tell that story fully, and to share what it truly means to be a steward of these remarkable gems.

C: What are you most excited about in light of your return to COUTURE?

NN: Returning to COUTURE feels like the right moment to bring our rarest colored stone work to an audience that truly appreciates it. We’re introducing designs that celebrate the breadth of color found in nature, set in rich 18k gold, with smooth lines that allow the stones to remain the focal point. Striking to achieve a balance between creative intention and clean, uncluttered form. At Omi Privé, we’ve always believed that a gemstone should speak to you — that the right stone creates an instant, personal connection. These new designs are built around that idea.

We’re especially excited to showcase our unexpected pairings at the heart of our work, combinations that surprise not only in color, but in the stones themselves. Paraíba tourmaline with cobalt spinel. Chrysoberyl with tsavorite garnet. Alexandrite and Demantoid garnet. These are pairings born from decades of gemological knowledge and a collector’s eye, each one a conversation between two rare stones that, together, say something neither could alone.
