As with any new startup, in those first days of launching their business, Tanya and Tomer worked long hours, from morning until nightfall and yet, “We were euphoric,” they enthuse. “It was just the two of us and we were living our dream. We felt like the wealthiest people on the planet, the masters of our time and destiny.” The couple posits that the balanced lines of their jewelry is a reflection of their emotional state of being happy and in love. The minimalism of their designs stands in courageous opposition to mainstream products made by other local brands and creates a beautiful juxtaposition to the unique cuts of diamonds they’re known for using in their designs.

Tanya and Tomer believe that one’s engagement ring should be both elegant and complex, and should convey the sanctity of the emotional bond, as well as the ordinariness of being a couple. All of their designs are thoughtfully conceived, and their collections contain a consistency in aesthetics, construction and form. Both contemporary and collectable, their work contains subtle nods to Art Deco themes, with clean architectural lines softened by the adept incorporation of diamonds and colored gemstones.

The culture of love that was built into the brand from its inception extends throughout all touch-points of the ARTËMER brand. Working with a team of expert artisans and dedicated support staff, all of their jewelry is created in their studio in Tel Aviv’s Diamond Exchange District, where a feeling of conviviality exists among the entire team. Using only ethically sourced materials, the brand creates jewelry that speaks to their clients’ hearts. “Because they, too, are young people in love,” says the couple. “And like us, they are interested in an alternative product that will gently and honestly express their engagement intentions.”
