Brand Spotlight: Eva Fehren

E
va Fehren designer, Eva Zuckerman, is a quintessential New Yorker. Born and made in New York City, Eva always considered herself a creative and immersed herself in multiple mediums throughout her childhood; painting on tattoos in her parent’s temporary tattoo and cosmetic business and drawing constantly. She went on to study painting at New York City’s famed The Cooper Union, and upon graduation, she dove headfirst into learning everything she could about jewelry design.

Nods to iconic buildings are evident in the geometric lines of her work, and her ability to create pieces that feel both bold yet elegant reflect New York City’s embrace of both industry and art.

While jewelry was not initially her primary form of creative expression, Eva has always seen a correlation between jewelry and her background in art, her passion for architecture and her aesthetic and attitudinal embodiment of her native city. Though subtle, themes of New York City’s poetic blend of beauty and controlled chaos can be seen throughout Eva’s collections.

Nods to iconic buildings are evident in the geometric lines of her work, and her ability to create pieces that feel both bold yet elegant reflect New York City’s embrace of both industry and art. Juxtaposing exacting angles with the ethereal hues of white and gray diamonds and opaque sapphires, her work is a perfect balance of masculine and feminine and has broad appeal across multiple style-sensibilities and gender identities.

In addition to their creative influences, Eva also inherited her parent’s entrepreneurial spirit, which, coupled with her artistic inclinations, resulted in a “perfect storm” for launching a jewelry business. All of Eva’s work is designed and fabricated in New York City by dedicated artisans who are supported by a passionate team of fellow artists, creatives, GIA-certified gem hounds and master renderers who share the designer’s penchant for exceptional craftsmanship and sustainable business practices.

The brand uses only trusted sources when procuring their materials, which include traceable and antique diamonds and recycled gold, and the brand demonstrates a commitment to ethical practices in all touchpoints of the business.

Working in 18k blackened white, yellow and rose gold and platinum, Eva’s jewelry begs to be stacked and layered, offering collectors of her work the ability to express their moods and whims through their choice of adornment. Often mimicked, never replicated, the designer’s signature pieces are instantly recognizable with their fresh, modern take on traditional jewelry silhouettes.

Her Engagement collection includes unique cuts of diamonds and a variety of imaginative options for wedding band stacks that are thoughtfully designed with a focus on comfort and ease of wear.
