Furrer-Jacot can trace its history back 150 years, when its founder, Jean Jacques Arbenz, established the business in Schaffhausen, Switzerland in 1858 following his goldsmith apprenticeship in Geneva. Located on the Rhine, Schaffhausen boasts a notable tradition of producing discerning jewelry, and its breathtaking beauty served as a powerful source of creative inspiration for the brand’s founder.
In Furrer-Jacot’s collections, the ubiquitous symbol of eternity, the circle, is interpreted in a stunning array of unique and innovative ways.

In 1941 Fritz Furrer joined the J.J. Arbenz company as its commercial director and in 1943, he took over the company. After marrying Lucienne Jacot from La Chaux-de-Fonds that same year, he renamed the company Furrer-Jacot. Today, the brand continues in the tradition of excellence of its founders. Under the direction of the brand’s head designer, Lucas Ruppli, the team of artisans laboring in the historic workshop practice traditional fabrication techniques combined with state-of-the-art technology.
