Los Angeles Wildfire Relief Efforts: COUTURE Round Up

T
he unparalleled crisis in Los Angeles is devastating and heart breaking, and many within our community continue to be impacted by the destruction of the ongoing wildfires. Our industry has already jumped in to help by raising money and contributing to relief funds. While the situation is developing, we wanted to compile the efforts that have been announced so far.

COUTURE is contributing to the fund created by Jewelers of America and Diamond Council of America to help jewelry businesses effected by the destruction. Any amount helps, donations can be made here.

Lauren Godfrey from Harwell Godfrey auctioned off a limited-edition all-diamond Charity Heart pendant, and the piece will also be made available to order from now through Jan. 16 for $11,000, with all proceeds going to the LAFD Wildfire Emergency Fund to finance supplies for the ground fight.

Emily P. Wheeler is donating 100% of proceeds from the sale of their Enamel Heart Studs to the LAFD and California Community Foundation.

Despite losing everything in her hometown of Pacific Palisades, Renna is donating 30% of all sales this month to the LAFD foundation.

Cabine Creative is offering safe storage of valuables or a safe haven for artists seeking a workspace to create, paint or manage their operations in their spacious WeHo showroom. “If you’re a stylist, showroom, photographer, glam team or brand in need of a place to house your collections or work, our doors are wide open to you,” the communications and brand strategy agency posted on their Instagram. Julia Flynn, the company’s Principal, noted that they have a long conference table on which one can work and get organized, and ample and convenient parking.

Sydney Evan is donating 100% of proceeds from both her California and Eye Heart LA pendants to Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation. Details can be found here.

Jacquie Aiche designed a Tribe Together tote to support wildfire relief efforts. With 100% of proceeds from each purchase donated to the California Fire Foundation, the tote helps fund critical aid, emotional support and resources for families impacted by the fires. Jade Ruzzo is donating 100% of proceeds from sales of her iconic Cymbal pendants to aid the “heroic efforts” of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

In tandem with Ten Thousand Things, MUSE X MUSE is donating 100% of proceeds from two mini split heart charms to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

There is still time to purchase a ticket for Greenwich St. Jeweler’s raffle benefiting the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund, which supports communities through critical periods with both immediate and long-term relief. Their grant efforts aim to rebuild and restore the lives of California’s most underserved population. The winner, who will be announced 1/16 at 11:59pm EST, will receive a Monet diamond pendant by Single Stone, and funds raised by raffle tickets sales will be matched by the retailer dollar-for-dollar.

Vice Versa noted on their Instagram account that they have always leaned on community during tough moments. In an effort to be community for those in need right now, the brand is giving the proceeds from sales of all of their popular Versa rings to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and World Central Kitchen.

Through the end of January, Spinelli Kilcollin will be donating 20% of all online and SK store sales to firefighting and fire relief efforts.

This weekend (1/17-1/19), in store and online, Elyse Walker will donate 10% of sales to LAFD Foundation.

Through February 28th, Sethi Couture will be donating 25% of proceeds from every stacking ring to verified GoFundMe campaigns supporting families who’ve lost their homes.

In response to the devastating wildfires ravaging California, Elior is launching a special initiative to support those affected by this crisis. The brands has created two versions of their City of Angels pendant, one in a heart shape and the other in a dog tag style—with 100% of net proceeds from each pendant being donated to Baby2Baby, an organization providing crucial support to children and families impacted by the fires.
