The Edit: Catwalk-Inspired Looks

W
hile Fall marks the start of sweater-weather, “cuffing season,” changing leaves and back-to-school, for many, September and Early-October also kick off an (increased) obsession with high-fashion. The latest looks from Fashion Weeks in New York, Milan  and Paris flood our Instagram feeds, and if you’re lucky enough be in one of those cities during its respective fashion weeks, the restaurants, bars and sidewalks of certain neighborhoods offer a front row seat to people watching some of the most well-heeled influencers in the world.

And while we expected to see diamonds galore, we noted an unexpected penchant towards green by way of a variety of brightly colored gemstones used either as accents or taking center stage.

The fashion week-inspired looks submitted by COUTURE designers and brands could have been pulled straight off the catwalk. Big and bold, these pieces could steal the show from the most celebrated clothing designer. When looking at the pieces submitted, a number of themes emerged, including collar necklaces, dramatic drop earrings, statement cuffs and festive cocktail rings. And while we expected to see diamonds galore, we noted an unexpected penchant towards green by way of a variety of brightly colored gemstones used either as accents or taking center stage.
