Business of Jewelry with De Beers Group

In late 2019, a group of COUTURE designers visited Botswana to explore De Beers Group’s operations and its surrounding communities and conservation areas.

This journey to the “cradle of humanity,” where over 70% of De Beers Group’s diamonds are discovered, allowed this group of artists to follow the journey of a De Beers diamond and learn more about how these gems are benefitting the people and wildlife of Botswana.

Join us for a discussion with five of the designers about how the trip inspired them to collaborate and create exclusive pieces for a new campaign called ReSet Collective. In this webinar you will hear about:

  • The personal stories of discovery from Jade Trau, Jennie Kwon, Julez Bryant, Sara Weinstock and Zoë Chicco, who experienced first-hand the positive impact that diamonds are making in Botswana
  • Their shared desire to contribute to the good that diamonds do for the people and places where they are found
  • A collective idea to create five one-of-a-kind pendants inspired by the trip, to be auctioned with the proceeds going to charity
