Annette knew from a young age that she wanted to make art her life, a sensibility that was supported by her parents. While her father, a sculptor and model maker, knew that living by her art would not be easy, he recognized that choosing to follow her passion was critical. Already an accomplished sculptor, Annette went on to study at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, where she embarked in all forms of studio art and ultimately discovered jewelry.

Entranced with the similarities between metalwork and other forms of sculpting, Annette found her happy place on the bench, using her hands to cut and form and mold wax and metal into pieces that evoke the exquisite beauty of the natural world.

Born in Los Angeles, Annette now lives in the bucolic countryside of New York’s Hudson Valley. Surrounded by flora and fauna, she’s able to view nature’s inherent creativity through her singular eye, revealing its rarities and distinctions through her work.

Each piece in Annette’s refined collection is hand-crafted by the designer in her studio, which is filled with the natural curiosities that inspire her, such as coral branches, exotic seashells, bouquets of feathers and colorful flowers

She maintains an uncompromising commitment to quality and attention to detail, which she couples with her dedication to using only precious materials that are hand-selected for their beauty and richness of color and texture. In her work, leaves come to life, acorns are immortalized, honeybees are revered, and feathers take on greater levity. Her original interpretations of classic motifs are unexpected, bold and playful.
