Founded in Los Angeles in 2001, Sydney Evan is the embodiment of the personal philosophy and values of its founder, Rosanne Karmes. Made with 14k gold and an exciting mix of precious and semi-precious stones, the collection infuses Rosanne’s love of travel, the arts and culture with her California-chic design aesthetic into a constantly evolving and expanding selection of classic yet whimsical designs.
Family is the driving force behind everything in Rosanne’s life.

A pioneer of often-replicated designs and silhouettes, Rosanne continually leads the charge in establishing trends and inspiring movements. Her cutting-edge sensibility has garnered an extensive celebrity following, including many iconic stars such as Miley Cyrus, P!NK, Emma Roberts, Eva Chen, Nina Agdal, Rihanna, Kate Bosworth, Jennifer Lawrence, Rocky Barnes, Jennifer Hudson, Gabrielle Union, Roselyn Sanchez, Kim Kardashian, Sofia Vergara and Emma Stone.

Family is the driving force behind everything in Rosanne’s life. As such, she named her brand after her two children, Sydney and Evan, as well as her father SY. Rosanne has an uncanny ability to unite her deepest sources of inspiration to reflect timeless concepts of spirituality, sentimentality and personal expression. Her pieces celebrate the unique stories of people’s lives, with strong roots in family, protection, love, luck and good fortune.

Rosanne is constantly evolving and expanding her brand. In addition to her prolific core collections, she also creates more accessibly priced gold vermeil pieces under the Syd by Sydney Evan moniker, as well as the Little Loves by Sydney Evan line, a fashion-fine collection for children. Her Sydney Evan Men’s Collection allows men to express their personal style through powerful talismans and meaningful symbols.

For Spring 2021, Rosanne launched Go Outside. Look Inside. This collection encourages wearers to flourish from within and open one’s mind and is a gentle reminder to “#bringyourshine wherever you grow.” As with all of her pieces, the collection is rooted in protection, growth and abundance with shields, evil eyes and hamsas symbolizing security, while birds, butterflies, flowers and feathers bring lightness to the soul.
