aris-based fine jewelry brand, CHRSTNS, creates limited edition pieces that express esoteric concepts through sculptural forms and hidden symbols. The lived experiences of the brand’s Founder and Creative Director, Steffie Christiaens, inform her approach to the creative and fabrication processes, and her dedication to articulating the complexities of an examined life fuels her ever-expanding work.
Collaborating only with skilled craftspeople working in small workshops in Beirut, Lebanon, and exclusively using ethically sourced stones and recycled gold, Steffie ensures that all touch points of her brand embody practices of transparency and the honorable treatment of people and planet.

Having lived among dream weavers in a remote, Southeast Asian tribe, and throughout her travels to India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Lebanon, Steffie has conducted extensive research on human relationships and cultural heritage. Her perception of the world extends beyond the tangible, and her pieces inspire an exploration of the depths of human emotions, connections and spirituality. Through the work she creates, Steffie strives to convey a soulfulness and intimacy that celebrates individual stories and contributes to the narratives woven across generations.

The Amar Beryl pendants are named for the verb Amar, meaning to adore “immortal” or “eternal,” and are intended to keep close that for which one is grateful, and Lighthouse can serve as “a guide back to our truest essence.”

Whether discretely expressed in the symbol for eternity or quietly representing the knot of forming a relationship, each design Steffie creates has a meaning beyond what’s visible to the uninquiring eye and showcases the sense of joy and curiosity inherent in her unique worldview.
