Under the direction of Founder and Creative Director, Akhil Dhaddha, GYAN Jaipur jewelry combines state-of-the-art technology with the exceptional level of traditional craftsmanship that is illustrative of this 4th generation family business. Drawing inspiration from the vibrancy of Rajasthan culture, bold colors and architectural silhouettes evoke the majestic essence emblematic of the region.

Multi-generational Jain jewelers, in 2016 the family opened the GYAN museum to pay tribute to their patriarch and Akhil’s grandfather, Gyan Dhaddha (1940-2004). An avid collector, Gyan’s interest in antiques was sparked at a young age and he spent a lifetime traveling the globe procuring the 2,500+ objet d’art and artifacts residing in the museum and that represents 3,000 years of cultural heritage.

This profound display of their connection to their past inspired Akhil, his father, his uncle and his brother to launch a jewelry collection that pays homage to the landmarks, landscapes and one-of-a-kind pieces that influenced the establishment of the museum.

Beginning with the concept of a design, Akhil takes a hands-on approach in carefully shepherding every piece through all aspects of the manufacturing process.

Each individual gemstone in this boldly colorful collection is meticulously selected by hand, and enhanced by the precision provided by modern technology, master jewelers apply their lifetime of experience in bringing Akhil’s vision to life. A prolific creative, Akhil also enjoys working with collectors on bespoke pieces, guiding them through the process of manifesting an idea into brilliant, tangible form.
